Masquerade

Written by Donald S. Sanford, from a story by Henry Kuttner
Directed by Herschel Daugherty
Starring John Carradine, Tom Poston, and Elizabeth Montgomery
Originally aired on October 30, 1961

Wry humor permeates this tale of a honeymooning couple forced to seek shelter in a dilapidated hotel operated by folks who claim to be vampires.

This episodes features delightfully droll performances from überfamous Hollywood veteran and horror icon John Carradine, a youthful Tom Poston (better known as handyman George Utley on TVs Newhart), and a naturally brunette Elizabeth Montgomery (best known as Samantha on TVs Bewitched). Also of note is the exterior hotel set, which is the very same as that used in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960).
