After a cuckolded bookworm cleverly disposes of his wife's various lovers, he uses his vivid imagination to work out a more permanent solution to his marital problem.

The writer of this episode, Robert Bloch, is well known to genre fans as the man who penned the novel on which Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) is based. Character actor Edward Andrews, who stars as the imaginative cuckold, should also be familiar to serious genre fans. A ubiquitous presence in Hollywood from the early 1950s to the mid-1980s, Andrews guest-starred in innumerable TV shows such as The Twilight Zone, The Wild Wild West, Bewitched, and Fantasy Island, as well as in movies such as The Absent-Minded Professor (1961) and Gremlins (1984).
